Brighten Group, formerly known as the Auxiliary, is a non-profit organization proudly serving the Saint John Regional Hospital community. With roots dating back to 1919, generations of volunteers, staff and supporters have shared a simple purpose — to make the hospital experience a little brighter for patients, families and staff.
Today, Brighten Group carries that tradition forward through our Gift Shop, Patient Comfort Programs and meaningful investments in the hospital community. While our name has changed over the years, our commitment to Comfort, Care & Community remains at the heart of everything we do.
